Wedding Speech ("we", "us", "our") operates the Wedding Speech mobile application (the "App"). This Policy describes what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have in relation to it.

1. Data We Collect

The App processes the following categories of personal data:

  • Device identifier — A randomly generated identifier assigned to your device on first launch. It carries no connection to your name, email address, or any information that would identify you as an individual.
  • Speech content — The inputs you provide to generate a speech (speaker role, names, tone preference, personal memories) and the resulting generated text.
  • Transaction records — Confirmation that a purchase was completed. Payment card details are processed exclusively by Apple App Store or Google Play and are never transmitted to us.
  • Diagnostics — Crash reports and performance data (device model, operating system version, and the state of the App at the moment of a failure), used solely to find and fix defects.

2. Purposes and Legal Basis

We process your data solely to provide the service you requested — generating, refining, and storing wedding speeches. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in delivering the service, and the performance of that service at your request.

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or profiling, and we do not process it for any purpose incompatible with those stated above.

3. Service Providers

We engage third-party providers for cloud infrastructure, AI processing, and payment processing. These providers act as data processors under our instruction.

To generate a speech, the text inputs you provide (role, names, tone, and any personal memories) are sent to our AI providers, who process them solely to produce your speech. We do not permit the use of your content for advertising or profiling.

Voice input is handled entirely by your device's operating system: the App never receives, records, or transmits audio — only the text your device produces from it.

Some providers may be located outside your country of residence. Where required by applicable law, we ensure that appropriate safeguards — such as standard contractual clauses — are in place to protect your data during any such transfer.

4. Data Retention

Speech data is stored until you delete it. You may delete individual speeches or your entire account at any time directly within the App.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or obtain a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

You may delete your account and all associated data directly within the App.

6. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you are under the applicable age of digital consent in your country, please do not use the App.

8. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
