Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Wedding Speech mobile application ("App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Wedding Speech is an AI-powered mobile application that helps you write, refine, and prepare personalised wedding speeches. The App uses artificial intelligence to generate speech drafts based on information you provide.

2. User Accounts

The App uses anonymous authentication — no account registration, email address, or password is required. You are assigned a unique anonymous identifier upon first launch, which persists as long as the App is installed on your device.

3. Purchases

Generating a speech requires a one-time purchase. Each purchase grants credits that are consumed within the App — a speech to generate, a number of refinements, or access to PDF export for a specific speech. Purchases are:

  • One-time (consumable) purchases — the App offers no subscriptions
  • Processed exclusively through Apple App Store or Google Play
  • Subject to those platforms' billing and refund policies
  • Non-transferable between devices or accounts, and forfeited if you delete your account

4. AI-Generated Content

Speeches are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided as a starting point only. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may be imperfect, inaccurate, or require editing
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and finalising any speech before delivery
  • Wedding Speech makes no warranty that AI-generated content will be suitable for your specific circumstances

5. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of the speech content you generate using the App. Wedding Speech retains all rights, title, and interest in the App itself, including its design, code, and underlying AI systems.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to generate content that is:

  • Unlawful, harmful, threatening, or abusive
  • Defamatory, obscene, or invasive of another's privacy
  • In violation of any applicable law or regulation

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Wedding Speech does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from defects.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Wedding Speech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to dissatisfaction with generated content or loss of data.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
